About Beauty For Ashes
Cyndi Foster is the overseer of Beauty for Ashes Ministry and House of Prayer. She is a member of the International Society of Deliverance Ministers with overseers Peter and Doris Wagner and Chuck Pierce as prophetic minister. Cyndi is the author of “Joy Comes in the Morning” giving her powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness at the death of her young daughter in 1992.
At Beauty for Ashes God is moving us toward the vision of the Apostolic Church which reflects the Book of Acts. Our desire is to see Jesus formed in the lives of all believers, so that His love may be manifested to the world. Daily we are seeking His heart, His compassion, His love, His mercy, His grace, and His will in order to expose the subtle lies of the enemy and emerge as a people who are truly sanctified and set apart for His good pleasure.
Beauty for Ashes is a family of believers who are truly committed to one another. We gladly welcome anyone into our family who has a desire to know the truth and grow in Christ.
Statement of Faith
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of the Heavenly Father and that He was born by a virgin birth. He lived a sinless life, though he was tempted in every way. He died a horrific death and tasted hell and the grave for us.
After three days in the grave He arose from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father ever praying for us. He sent His Holy Spirit to come and live in all those who ask to be forgiven of their sins and who call on the name of Jesus Christ.
When we ask Him into our heart and repent from our sins He sends His Holy Spirit to live in our hearts and dwell with us. The Holy Spirit begins a work of sanctifying and cleansing in us so that we can be a holy Bride for our Lord. We exchange our wickedness for His righteousness.
His Church consists of all believers as one body. He has given a five-fold ministry gift of apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, and pastors to equip, edify, and build-up the people of God. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are used to mature the people of God that they may become ministers of reconciliation. We desire that all believers mature into sons and daughters of God who can do the works that the Father has for them to do for His glory.
We believe in signs and wonders to confirm the Word of God and that you will know those who love the Lord by the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, long-suffering, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control) operating in their lives.
