Cyndi Foster
Founder & Overseer
Cyndi Foster is the founder of Beauty for Ashes Church and Ministry (BFA) in Newport News, Virginia. BFA is a dynamic church with several services throughout the week. Cyndi teaches on a wide range of topics including: healing the brokenhearted, deliverance, the headship of Christ, and apostolic power and authority. She hosts daily radio programs and is the author of Joy Comes in the Morning- her personal testimony about overcoming grief after the death of her daughter. Cyndi speaks at conferences and events in the U.S. and abroad. She holds a degree from the University of Maryland. Cyndi is married to John, and they have two grown sons.

Karen Melton
Worship Leader & Associate Pastor
Karen Melton is the worship leader and associate pastor. She edits and hosts the BFA radio programs. Karen also leads groups on inner healing and deliverance and oversees the children's ministry. She has three children of her own and is married to Thad.

Nicole McClure
Administrator
Ryan and Nicole McClure are gifted with hospitality and host many young adult events and gatherings.  Nicole McClure serves on the administrative staff and oversees local outreach. She facilitates the Young mom's life group.  Nicole holds a degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.  Ryan and Nicole together teach the Children's Sunday School Class twice a month.

 

Donna Ferguson
Accountant & Treasurer
Donna Ferguson is the accountant and treasurer at BFA. She also works with the women’s ministry. Donna is a graduate of Christopher Newport University. She is married to Ronald. Together they have three grown children, one son-in-law, and three grandchildren.

 

Nilo Paguia
Missions Coordinator
Nilo and his wife Debbie came to Beauty For Ashes with a vision to see the Gospel spread in the Philippines. He organizes several yearly mission trips to the Philippines and has helped us connect with local pastors and churches that have a heart to heal the broken hearted and see a move of the Holy Spirit sweep across the Philippines. He also oversees several Filipino churches. We have multiple bible schools in the Philippines and hold annual Pastors' Conferences and Crusades.

Jordan & Sarah Burroughs
Web & Sound Tech
Jordan and Sarah were married at The Call on 7/07/07 by Pastor Cyndi Foster. They both serve at BFA on the worship team. Jordan oversees the web and all technical aspects of BFA productions. Sarah oversees the Young Mom's Life Group.  They have three daughters.
